The competition is being co-organized by the United Nations – Office of Information and Communication Technologies (UN-OICT) and the European Commission – Directorate General for Informatics (EC-DIGIT).
The prizes will be awarded by the EC-DIGIT as follows:
The prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no alternatives will be provided. The prizes will be divided equally upon team members.
United Nations, OpenStreetMap and European Commission employees and associates are not eligible to receive cash prices.
The short listed winners will be notified via their email address once the jury finalizes the winner selection.
UN-OICT and EC-DIGIT will make two (2) attempts to contact the winner via email. If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 7 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and the organizers reserve the right to select and notify a new winner.
The winner will allow 60 days for the prize to be delivered, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.
