    Who can participate?

    • This challenge is open to the general public and any organization. We welcome the participation of individuals and teams of computer and data scientists, graphic designers and all others interested.
    • Teams can submit by acknowledging all contributors using the co-author field on the submissions form.
    • Participants can submit as many solutions to this challenge as they would like.

    Submission guidelines

    This challenge is open to the general public. Public, private, and academic organizations are also invited to take part.

    • Participants should submit the final challenge submissions clicking here.
    • Teams can submit by acknowledging all contributors under the “description” field on the submissions form.
    • There are no limitations on the number of submissions per participant / participating team.
    • The participants are required to agree to the terms and conditions.
    • For the "Free Open Source Software" category: Only original, open source work will be accepted. It is acceptable that your solution uses other existing open source libraries.
    • For the"Proprietary Software" category: If your solution uses proprietary software, it will be automatically considered for this category.

    Review criteria

    Entries will be judged on a combination of the following criteria:

    • Alignment with challenge objectives
    • Sound data analysis and accuracy of results
    • Originality
    • Clarity of information
    • Use friendliness
    • Technical qualities of the system

    Judging Panel

    All solutions will be reviewed by a committee composed of IT specialists and sustainable development experts.
