Description
Food is playing a major role in climate change. 1/3rd of the food around the globe get wasted. Improper dumping of food waste produce methane gas which is 10 times more harmful than carbon dioxide. We can control 11% of the methane gas production by managing food.
As the subject, Food and Women go hand in hand our goal is to bring women on the front towards the improvement of climate. So, we have developed an app on which restaurants and banquets will connect to us. They will provide us their left food which is in good condition. Our van which will have women employees for the collection, checking and maintenance of food. This food will be served in slum areas at a very low cost of 5 rupees. The food will be distributed by our women employees. All the profit earned by this project will be managed by our women community for expanding this to other places by forming other women communities in different areas.
