          Description

By 2050, 68% of the world population will live in cities, but our cities are plagued by air- and noise pollution. They are designed around efficiency and profit, and the needs of our industries. But the cities we want to live in should be designed around us, the citizens, with sustainability at the core of every aspect, and prepared for our changing climate.

When it comes to making those cities a reality, we face many challenges:
We need to better communicate the needs, constraints, and ideas of citizens, urban planners, architects, and local governments. Furthermore we need to empower citizens to engage in the conversation and convince those who are afraid of change. It is this very change that is necessary now to fight climate change and its consequences.

Open Street is an Augmented Reality App for everyone to playfully create a vision of their own front door, neighbourhood, or the entire city.
With Open Street we believe we can bring more people together to participate in the urban planning process, help envision the cities that we all want to live in, and trigger conversations between everyone involved.
