DescriptionRevive
we solved the issue by making a mobile application that uses gamification to solve the plastic problem we face by giving the experts and the environmental scientists the ability to direct people to do tasks that solve certain analyzed issues.
we merged the most effective two digital approaches to create an app which are social media interactions and the thrill of games.
Based on challenges that tackle plastic issues and harms, players gain points on each completed challenge these point are later used to determine their positions on certain leaderboards. The challenges are made by team of experts and environmental scientists. once the challenge is accepted by the player, the camera opens and the player is allowed to either record a video or start a live video where he starts to solve the task he is asked to submit, once the task is completed it's uploaded to his profile and is available to his followers and it gets reviewed and upon it's decided whether the player get's the points assigned to the challenge or not (if not the video is removed).
doing these challenges will change peoples behaviors, habits and prospective about the problem and how they look about the problem and the way they look around the environment .
part of the application is based on social media that each player has a profile page which include his followings and his followers and his player rank and finally the total points he owns alongside with his videos, you can also see the videos of your followings doing the challenges, therefore this will create a network between players that motivate them to do more challenges.
The main page (feed) will include videos of people the player is following.
