          Description

Problem: There is no doubt that the problem of plastic and its seriousness to the environment is one of the most common problems reported by all parties concerned with the problems of climate change and environmental pollution, but the numbers always give more realistic impressions of the problem, so we will mention the problem in numbers.

Egypt consumes 16 million tons of plastic annually, 6% of which is waste from plastic bags, equivalent to 970 thousand tons, where the volume of consumption per bag in Egypt 25 kg per capita per year, and the governorates of Cairo and Alexandria, 52% of the volume of consumption, where In 2016, Egypt consumed 12 billion plastic bags.

European countries collectively consume 27 to 30 million tons per year and recycle approximately 31% of this production, i.e., Egypt alone consumes 55% of what the EU countries collectively consume, and recycles only 11% of what it consumes.

These figures and statistics for Egypt according to the Center for Plastic Technology in the Ministry of Industry, and the Division of Plastics and Rubber Federation of Industries, and for the European Union, according to the "Davos" conference held in Switzerland.

The problem does not stop here: 65% of the textiles consumed in the Egyptian market are synthetic fibers made of plastic, mainly "polyester - viscose - nylon - acrylic".

These figures and their impact on the environment, air, aquatic life, and the diseases that cause them are more than mentioned here.

According to the recent Davos conference, Germany has the latest and most powerful plastic waste recycling system in the world. As the conference expressed, it is the "world champion in recycling plastic waste" and yet it recycles only 45% of its plastic production, despite the presence of hundreds of companies operating. In the field, whether private or belonging to the German municipalities, where the number of workers in this area 300 thousand people, and the reasons for the low percentage of what is recycled despite technological advances to:

The decline of the culture of citizens in the separation of waste from the source and sometimes difficult.

Lack of economic feasibility for companies to recycle some types of plastic waste.

Some products are not suitable for recycling.

This is the situation in Germany, what about Egypt ?! Therefore, we aim to find a smart solution that helps solve these problems and achieve sustainability and profit and simulates one of the traditional solutions in a number of countries, but using artificial intelligence technology.

Solution: Collect plastic waste and some other types of waste such as textile waste and edible oil, through a platform that collects waste from the first source consumed for points that can be transferred to funds obtained directly from one of the currently available services such as Fawry or Vodafone Cash or an electronic wallet , Or obtain it in the form of services such as payment of electricity or water bills, etc., or purchase of products produced by companies that receive the raw material we have collected and recycled, or other types of return.

The solution lies in the fact that it uses artificial intelligence to divide and identify waste types, their price value, weights and the extent of their spread once the consumer provides the site with the number of waste it keeps of each type.

Example: When a consumer add that has 30 bottles of mineral water of a large size, the site and in the moments and based on the information provided and using artificial intelligence technology, can calculate the equivalent of this number of weight, and the price of this product to the consumer, and then converted The price of this product for us and its profit margin, based on the selling price of the merchant or manufacturer who recycles the waste.

This site will also be a market place platform for the sale of products companies that want to market their products to the consumer directly, whether they buy from us raw material or others, and consumers can buy products in the points they collected.

          This solution provides:

The possibility of separation from the source

The possibility of knowing the quantities and types of waste that we will receive every day, every week and every month, and its price based on the products that enter into its industry

Provide a lot of random collection and the stages of transporting waste from homes to the street and then to the garbage collectors and then to wholesalers, then to wholesale and sorting and then to factories and recent sorting operations.

Using this technology and providing all of this operation, we can provide the best price to the consumer and the best factory price, with a simple and organized process, which contributes to reducing the amount of waste wasted.

The source of profit and sustainability in this project is in two parts:

The difference between the price of the raw material collected directly from the consumer, and the price of its sale to the recycling factories .

The percentage we get from each sale on the site for the products of our partner companies.
