          1- Causes of Land degradation: 

          Overexploitation of natural resources, unsustainable agriculture practices, use of pesticides, deforestation, forest fires, overgrazing, urbanization, and population growth. 

          2- Solutions:
          a. Conserve/protect our natural resources: soil, water, forests, wildlife; 
          b. Practice sustainable agriculture;
          c. Sustainable use of water;
          d. Create more green spaces/restoration (forestry and agriculture);
          e. Awareness.
