          Solution description

Edu-Wallet is a platform aimed at companies interested in fostering cross-functional skills (hard and soft skills) of their employees. The solution is based on a bottom-up approach to education taking into account three engagement pillars: autonomy, mastery and purpose.

Firstly, the solution provides a company with a skill-gap analysis of its employees and then identifies a set of courses based on the company’s needs for upskilling. Each employee will have access to their own results and can take a number of online interactive courses, which upon completion are added to a personal wallet. The courses also stimulate online engagement between colleagues as a way to create a community and encourage the sharing of digital technologies use and applications among employees.

At the end of the course, employees can earn a reward on the basis of their points (e.g. company welfare items), or companies can think of possible partnerships to certify the achievement in a certain area of competence, in order to obtain an Open Badge.

Edu-Wallet is easily customisable for the needs of every company and allows increase of courses over time.
