Solution descriptionUbiquitous and immersive learning experiences can help in raising students school motivation and learning up, especially on subjects that may be more difficult to grasp. Implementing a virtual room where science is an amazing experience to explore can be the solution for those teenagers struggling with STEM education.
In the Science Escape Room, different avatars will interact with scientific objects to let the invisible world become visible. Famous scientists will lead students through their discoveries explaining where the ideas came from, describing the struggle to defend them, the power of cooperation and scientific discovery. The number of users reaching each step of the escape room would give a measure of the impact of the solution, complemented by a questionnaire investigating user experience, satisfaction and learning.
Science Escape Room is an innovative way of stimulating cooperative learning, improve science learning, and attract more students in STEM education. The solution can be easily customised for students at different levels of education and with special needs.
