Controlled Crop Cultivation system to save thousands of farmers from committing Suicide

          Description

In India, thousands of farmers commit suicide every year as they are not able to repay their farm loans. To help farmers governments come up with farm loan waiver schemes of Billions of Dollars. Farm loan waivers are neither good for our economy nor a permanent solution to farmers plight.

A Major cause for farmers plight is that crops become too cheap when crop production is too high; this causes severe financial losses to farmers.

To solve farmers plight permanently, our PATENT-pending CONTROLLED CROP CULTIVATION system uses Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to ensure that prices of necessary crops like onion, pulses, sugar etc. neither go too high nor too low.

For example, fluctuations in onion prices are quite often. Almost once in every 3 years onions become either cheap or too expensive causing Millions of poor people panic and blaming government. Most of the times, onion prices become too expensive due to lack of production and hoarding by traders. So, following year many-many farmers decide to go for onion cropping causing too much production of onions. Hence, onions become too cheap causing severe financial losses to farmers and thousands of farmers committing suicide.

This system aims to control crop production so that production of necessary crops like onion, tomatoes, sugarcane, pulses etc. in a country/state/district remains within desired limits; neither too much production nor too little production of a crop to make sure that prices of onion, tomatoes, pulses etc. neither go too high nor too low causing severe losses to farmers.

The said apparatus of the invention further proposes to evolve over time and predict each farmer's cropping behavior and suggest them the best and the most profitable crop for them; the said apparatus also suggests authorities with exact details of necessary measures to be taken for irrigation, storage, transportation, hoarding etc. related issues.

P.S. - Although, I have filed PATENT, but I agree to the open-source software license and creative commons license as described in the Terms and Conditions.
